Step inside Floors Castle’s historic Walled Garden before it opens to the public and enjoy a truly exclusive guided experience. In a small group of just 15 guests, you’ll be led on a relaxed and informative walk at one of the most peaceful and beautiful times of day.

This seasonal tour offers an insight into the history, design and ongoing evolution of the Walled Garden. Learn about planting plans, colour schemes and sources of inspiration, while exploring the herbaceous borders, themed areas and changing displays throughout the garden. Along the way, our gardeners will share practical hints and tips to help you keep your own garden looking its best through the summer months.

Discover how the garden transforms from month to month, and gain a behind-the-scenes understanding of the work involved in maintaining this productive and ornamental space all year round. Within these historic walls, a rich variety of cut flowers, fruit and vegetables are grown, making the garden as productive as it is beautiful.

Each tour is tailored to the season, ensuring every visit is unique and shaped by what is in bloom at the time.

July’s main attractions are the Herbaceous Borders especially the Spring and Summer Borders, together with the produce in the Kitchen Garden.
