Booking and visiting Floors Castle
Groups of all sizes are encouraged to come and visit and enjoy what we have to offer. Larger groups (25+) may be staggered on entry, or split if they are having a guided tour, to enable everyone to get the best out of their visit. We will always endeavour to limit the size of groups to best fit the spaces in the castle.
Group visits to Floors Castle and Gardens are available. Groups are defined as 15 or more visitors and receive a special group rate for entry. All group visits must be booked in advance by contacting [email protected]. Further information can be found on our website.

Our gates opened for the 2026 season on the 3 April and will be open seven days a week from 10.30am until 17.00pm (last admissions to the house at 1600) until the 30th September*. *Floors Castle is also a private family home, and as such, parts of the site will be closed on occasion. Periods of closure will be listed on our website, and visitors will be unable to book for these days. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
The Terrace Cafe, Gardens and Apple Shed Gift Shop are open all round, and the Estate walks opened for the season in early May from 10.00am-17.00pm and will remain open seven days a week until the end of September. *Floors Castle is also a private family home, and as such, parts of the site will be closed on occasion. Periods of closure will be listed on our website, and visitors will be unable to book for these days. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable. Though we will endeavour to re-book you an entry slot at a time convenient to you.
Floors Castle has a variety of outdoor spaces to enjoy; the Walled Garden and Millennium Garden, the Star Plantation, cycle trail and waymarked walks all offer the chance to get some fresh air and exercise in beautiful and scenic surroundings.
Yes, there are free public car parks available at the woodland car park adjacent to the castle, and at the gardens. There is limited parking available for camper vans/caravans and coaches.
