Floors Castle is not only a Duke’s family home, but also the heart of the diverse Roxburghe Estates in a beautiful part of the Scottish Borders.
Just over an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and Newcastle, visit this stunning Castle and see for yourself the collection of fine art, porcelain, newly restored tapestries, grand rooms and superb views. We have woodland and riverside walks, formal and informal gardens and lots of lovely places to walk the dog, or to sit and watch the world go by.
Families: We are a family friendly attraction and offer kids adventures with our open spaces, playground, events and child friendly menus. Children under 16 go free when accompanied by an adult.

Dogs on leads are very welcome throughout the grounds and gardens (no dogs inside the castle please).
The Courtyard Cafe is dog friendly, offering indoor and outdoor seating to well behaved dogs and their owners. There is also outdoor seating and water points at the Terrace Cafe, so they needn’t be shut in the car.
Dining: The Terrace Café situated at the Gardens is open daily all year round. The Courtyard Café is open during our Summer Season
