Job Vacancy: Full Time Groundsperson
We're looking for a full time Groundsperson to join our talented gardens team. If you have extensive experience in all areas of lawn management we would love to hear from you.
The gardens at Floors Castle comprise a 4 acre walled garden, including herbaceous borders, kitchen garden, fruit trees, glass houses and lawned children’s play area. The grounds have extensive lawns to the front and rear of the Castle and along the main driveway entrances.
The successful candidate should have extensive experience in all areas of lawn management from the creation of new lawns through to renovation and annual maintenance. The candidate must possess experience in driving tractors with trailers and have relevant machinery maintenance qualifications or experience. Horticultural qualifications or knowledge and spraying certification would be beneficial. The successful candidate will join a team of three gardeners and work under the direction of our Head Gardener.
