What’s On at Floors Castle in 2025

2025 is shaping up to be a great year at Floors Castle, and we are hosting a series of exciting events throughout the season to come.

Throughout the year we run a diverse series of events, aiming is to provide something for everyone. This season we are bringing live music to Floors Castle, along with gardens events, outdoor theatre, behind the scenes tours, fitness events and family fun for all ages!

We are continually enhancing our attraction to offer you and your family the best day out in Scotland! Visit the beautiful Castle with our friendly guides on hand to point out our unique collection, and our fascinating history, our stunning gardens and Queen Victoria’s tea house, and explore the outdoors with wonderful woodland and riverside walks.

20th of June - 31st of August Zoolab Explorer Trail

This exciting FREE animal trail is the perfect way to get kids of all ages outside, active, enjoying nature and exploring this Summer!

Wednesday 2nd July Drop in Lego Club

Join the fun at Live Borders Lego Club where you can create your own masterpiece with the Lego bricks (or just build a castle…). Sessions are free and are held in our Castle picnic area.

Wednesday 2nd July Bookbug at Floors Castle

Free, friendly, fun sessions of songs, rhymes and stories for babies, toddlers, pre-schooler’s with their families and carers.

Zoolab Animal Explorer – Interactive Sessions

Discover your inner explorer and meet a variety of awesome animals that you will encounter on our free Zoolab Explorer Trail that runs daily throughout the Summer! Some slimy, some with fangs and pinchers, and some that like to scuttle around in the dark! Come face to face with these exciting creatures.

This Summer, Immersion Theatre returns to Floors Castle bringing a new feel-good family performance perfect for all ages, the Wind in the Willows! Jam-packed with audience participation, songs and fun for the whole family.

July’s main attractions are the Herbaceous Borders especially the Spring and Summer Borders, together with the produce in the Kitchen Garden.
