We will be running 2 sessions from now on. 10.30am โ€“ 11am & 11.30am-12 noon.
There will now also be a microphone so storyteller Lyndsay can be heard more clearly. The Golden Gates will be open at 10am for pedestrian access.
Sessions are free and take place at 10.30am and 11.30am on the 10th, 17th and 24th of July and the 7th of August. On arrival, please make your way to the Garden Ticket Kiosk, post code TD5 7RN, and you will be directed to the Bookbug Storytelling Tent. After your Bookbug session, please feel free to spend time enjoying our Play Park, Walled Garden, and the Grounds here at Floors Castle as part of your Bookbug visit.
Free, friendly, fun sessions of songs, rhymes and stories for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolerโ€™s with their families and carers. Each session lasts around 30 minutes and has been designed to support childrenโ€™s development while having fun. They take place in the relaxed environment of the Walled Garden at Floors Castle and are a great opportunity to spend some quality time with your little one and meet other families.

These Bookbug sessions are suitable for children aged 0-3 accompanied with parents/carers. There is no need to book, just turn up and enjoy! Please feel free to bring a cushion, camping chair or a picnic blanket to sit on.
โ˜•As well as our Apple Shed Giftshop having take-away tea and coffee on offer for you and Terrace Cafe being open, the Courtyard Cafรฉ situated at the Castle is also open during our Summer Season and offers a selection of light lunch options. From freshly prepared salads and paninis and a special selection of cakes and traybakes made in the Floors Castle Kitchen. There is ample indoor seating here if you need to shelter from the elements and outdoor seating is also available together with a large grassy picnic area situated very close to the Courtyard Cafรฉ with benches for you to enjoy while the children run around! You have the option to sit-in or take-away here.
