Bookbug at Floors Castle

𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐛𝐮𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐛𝐮𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦.

Free, friendly, fun sessions of songs, rhymes and stories for babies, toddlers, pre-schooler’s with their families and carers. Each session lasts around 30 minutes and has been designed to support children’s development whilst having fun. They take place in the relaxed environment of the Castle Picnic Lawn at Floors Castle and are a great opportunity to spend some quality time with your little one and meet other families.

Sessions are free for all to attend ( there is no entry fee for these sessions) and take place at 11.30am – 12noon & 1pm – 1.30pm on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th of July and the 5th & 12th of August 2026. On arrival, please enter via the Golden Gates, Post Code TD5 7RL and park in the Woodland Car Park (pedestrians are welcome to walk up the main drive from Kelso),  make your way to the Bookbug Storytelling Tent which is located behind the Courtyard Café on our Castle Picnic Lawn.  After your Bookbug session, please feel free to spend time enjoying our Grounds here at Floors Castle as part of your Bookbug visit.

These Bookbug sessions are suitable for children aged 0-3 accompanied with parents/carers. There is no need to book, just turn up and enjoy! Please feel free to bring a cushion, camping chair or a picnic blanket to sit on.
