Private Evening Gardening Tour with Fizz and Canapés – July

Step inside Floors Castle’s historic Walled Garden, where your group of 15 will be led on an intimate after hours tour around key aspects of the Walled Garden, providing an in-depth insight into its history, design, planning and sources of inspiration. Join us on an relaxed walk where we will look at the herbaceous borders, the variety of planting designs, colour schemes and themes areas together with general hints and tips to help you keep your own gardens at their best throughout the Summer. You will begin your tour on the Terrace with a glass of fizz and canapés prepared for you by the Duke & Duchess of Roxburghe’s personal Chef.   We will then discover how the different areas of the Walled Garden change with the season and discuss the work involved with keeping the garden looking at its best all year round! .

A multitude of wonderful cut flowers, fruit and vegetables are grown within these historic walls, making our garden as beautiful as it is productive.

All tours are tailored to suit the season and the flowers in bloom, July’s main attractions are the herbaceous borders especially the Spring and Summer borders.

Location:  Floors Castle Walled Garden TD5 7RN. Please make your way to the Terrace Cafe for 6pm sharp for your fizz and canapés, Kate will be there to greet you. You are welcome to enjoy our Grounds & Gardens throughout the day before your tour, please show your tour ticket at one of our Kiosks on early arrival.
