Simon McManus, Head Gardener at Floors Castle will demonstrate how climbing plants and wall shrubs such as Hydrangea and Wisteria are pruned. We will also demonstrate how the roses on chains in the Castle Gardens are maintained and the work that is done over winter on our climbing roses – both ramblers and climbing varieties. We will also discuss and answer any questions regarding the pruning of shrubs and maintenance of herbaceous borders to allow you to get your garden ready for the new season in 2024. This is the perfect opportunity to benefit from Simons 17 years of gardening experience and learn new skills in an enjoyable and inspiring setting of the Walled Garden at Floors.
