Sunflower Maze

Discover something new at Floors Castle this Summer with the arrival of our very first Sunflower Maze. Set within a spectacular five acre field, this vibrant seasonal experience invites visitors to wander among towering sunflowers and enjoy the estate at its most colourful, surrounded by nature.

Even better, entry to the Sunflower Maze is completely FREE, making it the perfect day out for everyone.

The Sunflower Maze is a wonderful way to spend time outdoors. Whether you are planning a family day out, an adventure with friends, or the perfect photo trip, this is a must visit Summer experience. Expect fresh air, beautiful scenery, and plenty of moments worth capturing.

Dog Friendly Information

While we love welcoming four-legged visitors, the Sunflower Maze itself is sadly not dog friendly. However, dogs on leads are very welcome throughout the rest of the Grounds and Gardens, as well as in both of our Gift Shops (please note dogs are not permitted inside the Castle).

There is also plenty of outdoor seating and water points available at the Terrace Café, and dogs are welcome inside the Courtyard Café.

Accessibility

As this is a natural seasonal experience, the maze is created within a working field environment. Until the field is fully established and we can assess ground and weather conditions, we are unable to confirm whether the Sunflower Maze will be fully wheelchair accessible. However, we will do our very best to make it as accessible as possible for all visitors.

Opening Dates

As this is a natural seasonal experience, opening dates may vary depending on sunflower growth and flowering. The maze may open once the sunflowers are tall enough to form the maze, even before they are in bloom, and will remain open throughout the flowering period.
