The Jungle Book

This Summer, Immersion Theatre returns to Floors Castle for the third time bringing a new feel-good family performance perfect for all ages, reviving their critically-acclaimed musical adaptation of the Rudyard Kipling family favourite, THE JUNGLE BOOK!

Filled with original music, audience interaction, and a host of larger-than-life characters, you are invited to join Mowgli and his friends, Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther, on a madcap jungle adventure as they meet and attempt to outwit a slithering snake, some cheeky monkeys, and the fierce tiger, Shere Khan!

Funny, exciting and wildly entertaining, this AOOO-some musical will have you howling with laughter: It’s the perfect treat for the whole family!

Recommended age: 4+

Approximate run time: Act 1 – 45 minutes / Interval / Act 2 – 40 minutes

Please bring along your E-tickets and enter the site through our main Golden Gates at the top of Roxburgh Street – Postcode TD5 7RL, you will then be directed to our event car parking which is in close proximity to the Castle where the performance will take place.

Bring along a picnic and a comfy low backed chair, or blanket if you wish, find your spot and enjoy this fun filled show! Refreshments will be on sale from the Courtyard Café, including snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. There will also be an ice cream stall.

– This event is wheelchair accessible.

– No dogs

– Chairs, picnics, blankets and any other low-level accessories are welcome.

– This is an open-air event and will run in any weather, in case of rain, please don’t bring umbrellas as they block sight-lines for other audience members. Ponchos and raincoats are just as fetching, so please wear these instead.

Your Jungle Book ticket gives you access to the show and our Estate Grounds only (this does not include inside the Castle or our Gardens, tickets for these can be purchased separately on the day)
