As a member of the Floors Castle Team, you will contribute to the provision of a quality service to meet high standards and help to provide a great Visitor experience.
The Role
As a member of the Front of House Team, you will contribute to the provision of a quality service to meet high standards in line with agreed procedures and provide a warm welcome to visitors. The Terrace and Courtyard Cafes are very busy environments through the season, and applicants will need to be prepared to give their best each and every shift.
Occasionally situations may arise that require the post holder to perform other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested by the Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Cleaning
Primary responsibility is the daily cleaning and maintenance of consumables at the Visitor toilet facilities located at the Terrace Café year round and Courtyard Café through the Summer season and at selected times over the Winter months. Undertake all tasks as directed so that high standards of Health and Safety and hygiene are met.
2. Visitor Care
We pride ourselves on the service we provide to our visitors, and work hard to always improve. You will be expected to provide the highest standards of customer service and represent Floors Castle to the best of your ability at all times.
3. Security
Ensure all aspects of security, fire safety and emergency procedures are carried out, so that company policies and practices are adhered to.
4. Health and Safety
All staff are expected to observe all health and safety at work regulations as set out by Floors Castle in accordance with its statutory obligations. You will be prepared to undertake any training that may be required to support this.
5. Any Other Duties
Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be requested by your Line Manager. You will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
