Floors Castle, the Grounds, Courtyard Café, Castle Gift Shop and the Main Gates to the Estate on Roxburgh Street are now CLOSED to the public for the Winter season, and will remain closed until Spring 2026. Our beautiful Walled Garden, Apple Shed Giftshop & Pantry and Terrace Café will still remain OPEN 7 days a week. All access to the Estate is via the Terrace Café and Gardens entrance on the B6397 only.

Please note: This pass provides access to the Grounds only and does not include entry to the Castle or Walled Garden. When you visit, you can collect your Seasonal Pass from our ticket kiosks or the Apple Shed Giftshop on arrival when you present your receipt of purchase.

The Gardens at Floors Castle combine one of the finest Victorian Kitchen Gardens in a spectacular Walled Garden with Glasshouses bursting with soft fruit specialist plants, a formal Millennium Garden which features a French-style parterre and a charming summerhouse known as Queen’s House after Queen Victoria took tea here during her visit in 1867.
The 4 acre Walled Garden is a unique showpiece of seasonal colour and interest. The wider Estate Grounds are ideal for walking, cycling, picnicking and enjoying the beautiful countryside of the Scottish Borders.
