During the Winter months, while the Castle and wider grounds are closed, the Walled Garden, Apple Shed, and Terrace Café remain open daily.

Enjoy unlimited access to our beautiful Estate Grounds with a Seasonal Grounds Pass, valid from 3rd April – 30th September 2026. Your pass allows entry to: Woodland walks, Riverside paths, Cycle trail and Expansive Castle lawns and grounds with stunning views across the Scottish Borders. It’s perfect for dog walkers, families, cyclists, and anyone who loves spending time outdoors. Under 16s go free. Please note: This pass provides access to the Grounds only and does not include entry to the Castle or Walled Garden. When you visit, you can collect your Seasonal Pass from our ticket kiosks or the Apple Shed Giftshop on arrival when you present your receipt of purchase.

Available from the 3rd - 6th April. Then open from the 1st May until 30th September. Ticket valid for seven days from first visit and will be validated and date stamped on arrival.

Considered by many to be the highlight of their visit… The Gardens at Floors Castle combine one of the finest Victorian Kitchen Gardens in a spectacular Walled Garden with Glasshouses bursting with soft fruit specialist plants, a formal Millennium Garden which features a French-style parterre and a charming summerhouse known as Queen’s House after Queen Victoria took tea here during her visit in 1867. The 4 acre Walled Garden is a unique showpiece of seasonal colour and interest. The wider Estate Grounds are ideal for walking, cycling, picnicking and enjoying the beautiful countryside of the Scottish Borders.
