The entire site (Castle, Terrace Cafe, Courtyard Cafe, Apple Shed, Estate Walks and Gardens) will be closed on Saturday 11th September. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.**

Explore Floors Castle, the largest inhabited castle in Scotland and family home of the 11th Duke of Roxburghe and witness the evolving story of a house and gardens with impressions left by succeeding generations.

We welcome visitors from near and far to come and enjoy this inspiring Castle and its surroundings. From our spectacular Victorian Walled Garden with glasshouses, herbaceous borders and a formal Millennium Garden, to woodland and riverside walks and a delightful cycle trail, there is so much to discover.

Families are always welcome and we actively encourage children to explore and have fun during their visit.

You cannot book online for a visit the same day. However, pre-booking is no longer essential. You will be able to access the Castle and Gardens without a pre-booked slot until the end of September 2021.

Great Visit, Highly Recommended

My wife and I had a fantastic visit to Floor Castle with our dog Cash. The grounds and Walled Garden at the Castle were beautiful. The staff in the cafe were friendly and the food delicious. They had a good selection of gifts in the cafe and the walled garden ranks among the best I've visited if not the best on the account that they allow dogs.

All in all a great visit. Highly Recommended.
