The Art of Plant Propagation

Join us for a two-hour, hands-on propagation workshop in the charming surroundings of Queen Victoria House within the Walled Garden.

Led by Simon, Head Gardener at Floors Castle, this practical session will demonstrate how to sow seeds, take cuttings from both indoor and outdoor plants, and master the sometimes-tricky techniques of layering and division. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and seek advice on any propagation challenges you may be experiencing at home.

With over 18 years of experience at Floors Castle Gardens, Simon brings a wealth of horticultural knowledge and practical expertise, making this a wonderful opportunity to learn directly from one of the Borders’ most experienced gardeners.
