Autumn is coming, so why not embrace the transition from Summer to Autumn by creating your own seasonal door wreath or vase arrangement (please choose your preference) . What could be more attractive than a wreath on your door or a bouquet on your dining table, celebrating the abundance of elements Autumn has to offer. You will be guided through the creative process of crafting your very own stunning wreath or vase arrangement. Immerse yourself in the therapeutic joy of arranging seasonal colours, textures and scents into a unique masterpiece!
Led by Caroline Millar, a renowned florist and stylist who will guide you using traditional methods, seasonal foliage and trims to create a beautiful Autumnal wreath. Caroline trained at internationally recognised Jane Packer Flower School, London – and has gone on to work as a floral stylist for magazines, films and TV as well as weddings and large events. Caroline runs the Florist and the Woodturner shop in Duns, Scottish Borders.
This unique workshop is open to everyone and included in your ticket price is tea or coffee with shortbread, and entrance to the Gardens which you can wander and enjoy at your leisure before or after your workshop, you will also receive 15% discount from your food bill (this includes Afternoon Tea) when you eat in the Terrace Cafe and 10% discount from the Apple Shed Giftshop & Deli on the day of your Workshop. Please arrive at the Courtyard Café prompt for a 10am start and enter the Estate through our Farm / Terrace Cafe/ Walled Garden entrance off B6397 and follow the signs for Roxburghe Estates Office, there will also be signs for the workshop directing you to the Woodland Carpark where is just a stone’s throw away from the Courtyard Cafe
*Please bring your trusty strong scissors or secateurs .
**If choosing to do a vase arrangement, you are welcome to bring own vase with a maximum height of 12″
everything else will be supplied.
