Floors Castle has many attractions
From the 1st of May 2024, Floors Castle & the Grounds will be open to the public for the Summer season. In the meantime, our magnificent Walled Garden, Terrace Café and Apple Shed Gift Shop & Deli will be open every day from 10am – 5pm, 7 days a week.
Castle
Floors Castle is the largest inhabited house in Scotland and was opened to the public by the 10th Duke in 1977. It remains an iconic piece of Scottish architecture and as a dwelling, has few rivals in the UK. Whilst it is a visitor attraction, first and foremost, it is a beloved family home to the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe.
Gardens & Grounds
The gardens and grounds at Floors are a delight to explore with your family and friends.
Shop & Eat
Situated in the traditional building, flanking the Walled and Millennium Garden, you will find the Apple Shed, Terrace Cafe and Gift Shop & Deli.
