Kitchen Assistant to join our team
Floors Castle kitchen is looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to come and join our well established & professional team, based within the main Castle kitchen, providing a fantastic environment to learn and develop new skills alongside the personal chef to the Duke of Roxburghe.

Key Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Assistant you be required to work alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef and Chefs de
Partie to assist in production supporting Catering, retail and functions.
These include:
- Support for the Kitchen Team in the provision of a clean and hygienic environment.
- Help maintain the high standards of our food safety & hygiene policy.
- Packing and organisation of Kitchen produce stores
- Daily delivery of produce to retail and catering outlets across site
- Maintaining stock levels for the retail outlets and ensuring the production line works efficiently.
Qualities you will possess
- Enthusiastic approach to work.
- Positive and approachable manner.
- Ability to work without the need of close supervision.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work closely within a team.
- A full driver’s license is essential
Hours of work
Basic hours are 9am – 3pm – 5 days from seven on a rota basis. Includes weekends and may include
occasional evenings to meet business requirements.
Salary
£12.21 per hour.
