Floors Castle is not only a Duke's family home, but also the heart of the diverse Roxburghe Estates in a beautiful part of the Scottish Borders.


Just over an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and Newcastle, visit this stunning Castle and see for yourself the collection of fine art, porcelain, newly restored tapestries, grand rooms and superb views. We have woodland and riverside walks, formal and informal gardens and lots of lovely places to sit and watch the world go by.

We are on the outskirts of Kelso, a vibrant market town in the Scottish Borders. The area offers a fascinating mix of busy historic towns, views of rolling hills and plenty of places to stop and explore. Perfect for a day out from Edinburgh, Glasgow or Newcastle. Also enjoy Kelso Abbey, Kelso Cathedral, the ruins of Roxburghe Castle and Kelso Ridge.
